The hugely anticipated video game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim hits the shelves on November 11, and developers Bethesda revealed via Twitter that same-sex marriage will be allowed in the game.
After one Twitter user accused them of being “hush hush”, Pete Hines, of Marketing and PR for Bethesda said: “Not hush hush, just not making a huge deal out of it. You can marry anyone.”
This feature within the game is not just for show either, starting relationships in-game can greatly benefit the player, leading to property ownership to travelling companions in the role-playing game.
Skyrim will be released on PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 on November 11, 2011.
