The makers of BBC 3 lesbian drama Lip Service have announced via Twitter (@LipService_BBC3) that they are currently finishing the filming of their second series, with the hope of premiering it in early 2012.
The second series will introduce a host of new actresses, including Neve McIntosh from drama series Bodies and Sinead Keenan from Being Human, to name a few. Writer Harriet Braun said in a BBC News press release, “I’m delighted that this second series has given me a chance to develop more compelling stories for our characters as well as mixing things up with some new and intriguing faces.”
Lip Service series 1 is available to purchase from all good DVD retailers now.
