Facebook has admitted that a photo of two men kissing which was deleted from the site should not have been censored.
The photograph, which showed two East Enders characters in a clinch, was posted by blogger Naill O’Conghaile. The photo featured on a protest page condemning Soho pub The John Snow for throwing out a gay couple for kissing.
Facebook issued a statement which read: “The photo in question does not violate our Statement of Rights and Responsibilities and was removed in error. We apologise for the inconvenience.”
