In the tantalising teaser clip, we see Martin admitting it wasn’t an easy journey: “I have my moments of insecurity where I question everything.”
Martin is also set to star in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming series, The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. The film will include his first ever on-screen nude sex scene when he plays the part of Gianni Versace’s lover Antonio D’Amico.
He opened up about the filming experience in Entertainment Weekly:
“I thought I was going to be more uncomfortable. The exhibitionism kicked in for a moment and all of a sudden I was naked in bed in front of 20 people from the crew and another actor I met that same day. I was not nervous at all. On the contrary, I was ready to do what needed to be done.”
You’ll have to wait until early next year to see the finished film so in the meantime, roll on 8 September and the behind-the-scenes VH1 documentary.
