Every year the Diversity In Media Awards honour the voices that celebrate and reflect the society we live in. They prove to the world that media is so much more than the white, male, cisgendered voice and aim to encourage and inspire people to work in media by showcasing the diverse role models who are paving the way.
The organisation takes their commitment to diversity in media very seriously. In addition to the glittering awards ceremony, which will be hosted by BBC newsreader and DIVA magazine columnist Jane Hill, the Diversity In Media Awards sponsor educational opportunities for aspiring media trainees.
