Get body confident with Ex On The Beach: Body SOS
Model, personal trainer and former TOWIE star Charlie King is set to light up our Wednesday evenings on new MTV show Ex On The Beach: Body SOS.
King, who dated Gemma Collins before coming out as gay on This Morning, is part of a squad of trusty trainers, led by Vicky Pattison, helping 16 people get body confident – through a combination of exercise, nutrition and self-love – in just three months before the big beach reveal in Spain.
The heartthrob told ONG: “Ex On The Beach: Body SOS is a transformation show which sees individuals take on the challenge to make themselves a better version. From fitness to wellbeing, it’s all about helping people be what they want to be.”
King, 31, has a very personal reason for taking part in the show – and hopes his experiences can inspire others.
“My whole ethos is own who you are, work hard, be happy and the results will come.
“As a guy who has suffered my own insecurities and depression, I found exercise and honesty helped me turn my life around,” he says. “The fact is that after all these years I am still succeeding in the TV industry despite people telling me my five minutes were up a long time ago.”
The ripped reality star added: “It’s a real honour to be asked to take part and offer my story to help others.”
King’s fellow trainers include Ex On The Beach star Joss Mooney and Love Island’s Rykard Jenkins.
Ex On The Beach: Body SOS starts Wednesday 17 January at 8pm on MTV. @CharlieKing85
