Noor Salman has been arrested in connection with the massacre.
The wife of the man who killed 49 people at Pulse nightclub in Florida has been arrested in San Francisco, according to news reports.
Her husband, Omar Mateen, carried out the attack last year, which was the worst mass shooting in US history.
The New York Times reports she’s been charged with obstruction, and aiding and abetting the attempted provision of material support to a foreign terrorist organisation,
Police are yet to make public the details surrounding Salman’s arrest but she was earlier suspected of scouting out the nightclub months before the attack.
Mateen, who pledged allegiance to the Islamic State terrorist group, was shot and killed by police after a three-hour standoff.
Ms Salman was interviewed hours after the rampage and reportedly told federal agents she was unaware of Mateen’s plans, and added he was physically abusive towards her.
