Two men were arrested earlier this month for having sex in the sauna at the Virgin Active gym in Barbican.
The men were arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency but released from custody later the same day. The police decided not to take the case any further.
The gym’s management is alleged to have had problems with men having sex in the sauna in the past.
Police have not publicly identified the men.
