“When my hopes and dreams of ‘Maybe one day…’ came true.”
Newlyweds Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black just got hitched at an intimate ceremony in Bovey Castle in Devon and we couldn’t be happier for them.
The loved up pair took to social media to post the first photos from their big day and they were so gorgeous we just had to share them with you.
In a series of heartwarming tweets, Olympic diver Tom called their wedding “truly unforgettable”, while his new husband, Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin described the 6th May as the day “when my hopes and dreams of ‘maybe one day…’ came true”.

According to reports, at the start of the ceremony Tom recited Shakespeare verse – Romeo and Juliet to be precise. We can’t be 100% sure but we’re guessing it went something like this: “Dustin, Dustin, wherefore art thou Dustin?”

The couple, who have been an item for four years, announced their engagement in The Times in 2015, just two years after Tom came out publicly in 2013. Dustin captioned a fabulous shot of the happy couple together on a picturesque bridge with the question, “So what did you do this weekend?” Nothing as magical as you two, Dustin!
