Footballers and match officials in the English and Scottish leagues are currently sporting their rainbow laces to show solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community. As you might expect, leading LGBTQ+ football club Stonewall FC is leading the way by announcing some really exciting kit partnerships.

Created in partnership with kit sponsor adidas, Stonewall FC’s three teams will each sport their fancy new club strips from 12th December. Every shirt is stitched not just with an LGBT+ tag but also with the logo of Kick It Out, the organisation which works so hard to combat racism in the beautiful game.

The kit worn by the club’s Unity Team celebrates solidarity with the trans community, using big, bold colours from the trans flag in a contemporary camo style.

The launch of the new kits coincides with EA Sports being named as the club’s official title shirt sponsor. EA is committed to making football a more inclusive space for all and good things are expected to come as a result of the two year partnership to increase LGBT+ participation within the game.
