starbucks1Coffee giants Starbucks have announced they support gay marriage legislation in the US. They have now pledged their support along with other corporations such as Microsoft and Nike.

 

In a statement printed on The Seattle Times, Starbucks executive vice president of partner resources, Kalen Holmes, said they were “proud” to join other leading Northwest employers in support of Washington State legislation which recognises marriage for same-sex couples.

“Starbucks strives to create a company culture that puts our partners first, and our company has a lengthy history of leading and supporting policies that promote equality and inclusion.”
