thtWorking in partnership with Terrence Higgins Trust and Birkbeck Pride, Birkbeck College’s LGBTQ Student Group, LG ineqs is hosting a sexual health pop-up clinic at Birkbeck College in London.

On Wednesday 19th September 2012, in Rooms 418 and 420 of Birkbeck College, Malet Street, London. WC1E 7HX., between 15:00 and 20:00, THT will be running the pop-up clinic.

The clinic is completely free, confidential and open to everybody. Those attending will be able to have a range of STI tests as well as the 60 second HIV test. THT staff are also able to provide those that turn up with sexual health advice, free condoms, pregnancy tests, the pill, the morning-after pill and hormone injections.

Sean, a trustee of LG ineqs, says, “Being aware of your own sexual health is something that is really important but too many of us neglect. This free service, in the heart of London, being provided by Terrence Higgins Trust is a great opportunity for people to have a quick sexual health check-up.”

The pop-up clinic is completely free and open to all. Anything discussed with the staff at the clinic will be completely confidential. There is no need to book in advance either – those wanting to be tested can just turn up on the 4th floor of Birkbeck College between 3pm and 8pm.

Whilst the pop-up clinic is being run as a free service, it costs THT around £10 per person that is tested. There will be collection buckets so those who can afford it can make donations.
