The world has watched on in horror at the revelations about the “gay purge” happening in Chechnya. It has been reported that more than 100 gay and bisexual men have been captured and tortured because of their sexuality. Some of them are believed to have been killed.
In response to the atrocities, MTV has launched a new campaign to “raise the volume on the public outcry, and let the world know we have our #EyesOnChechnya”.
