Aberdeen’s growing community of Countesswells has welcomed a new neighbour with the north of Scotland debut of luxury UK housebuilder, David Wilson Homes.

Renowned for its high quality, high specification properties, and, of course, its Golden Retriever mascot, David Wilson has unveiled its first release of homes at the popular development, which now benefits from direct access to the A944 via the West Link at Kingswells.

This first release features a choice of traditional 3-bedroom semi-detached and 4-bedroom detached homes, all benefiting from the housebuilder’s signature finish and well-proportioned spaces.

The Duart is a great choice for first time buyers or new families seeking something really special for their first or next step up. On the ground floor, a thoughtfully designed kitchen leaves ample space for family dining, while a separate utility area and WC adds further convenience. Upstairs three double rooms, including master en suite, adds a touch of luxury and space.

For growing families and households looking for a larger property that can flex to meet their needs, regardless of what the world throws their way, the Falkland, Dalmally, Ballater and Glenbervie provide enviable options.

All 4-bedroom homes, each has a different offering depending on the buyer’s priorities. The Dalmally and Falkland, for example, include an integrated garage, while the Ballater offers an extensive kitchen, dining and utility space.

The Glenbervie offers numerous added features, including a designated study on the ground floor, and a separate dining room for memorable family gatherings. The master en suite even boasts a dressing room. This double-fronted house is quite unlike anything else on offer at Countesswells.

Speaking of the launch, Mike Cowie, sales and marketing director at David Wilson Homes North Scotland, said: “We’re really excited to be launching the David Wilson Homes brand at Countesswells this New Year. With its reputation for high specification homes and traditional, high-quality finishes, it brings to the development an offering that’s new and fresh, and meets with the aspirations of this desirable new community. I’m sure buyers will welcome it with open arms.”

Located just four miles from the city centre, Countesswells is one of Aberdeen’s newest communities. Offering the best of both suburban and urban living, it is just a short journey from city attractions, neighbours a choice of golf courses and country walkways, and will soon benefit from a range of local amenities including shops and a brand new primary school.
