Mohammed Hasnath, 18, has been convicted for conducting an anti-gay sticker campaign around Tower Hamlets.
Hasnath appeared in court on Wednesday. He pleaded guilty to four charges under the Public Order Act, and was fined £100, £85 in costs and a £15 surcharge.
Hasnath spread stickers across Whitechapel and on a bus before finally being convicted after being caught on CCTV at Bow Church DLR.
British Transport Police’s Detective Constable Elaine Sexton told The Wharf: “These stickers were offensive and caused a great deal of distress to residents in East London.”
