As part of their Global Online Events, Lesflicks is excited to announce their first ever Online Lesbian Short Film Festival! Running over three days from Friday 24th – Sunday 26th July, Lesflicks Online Lesbian Short Film Festival will showcase a specially curated selection of up to 40 short films honouring stories that celebrate women loving women.

There are many easy, fun and entertaining ways to connect with the Lesflicks Online Lesbian Short Film Festival. Head to lesflicks.com to subscribe to Lesflicks VOD Streaming Service, you can Zoom alone with your global community, or get your friends together for a Zoom Watch Party! Chat live with people from all over the world, and at the end, go wild discussing and debating as you vote for your favourite film!

Want to engage with the wonderful people creating the women loving women films we love to watch? Q&A sessions with filmmakers will go out live on Lesflicks Facebook and Lesflicks YouTube channel. Submit your questions via Facebook or YouTube and hear what they have to say about their work!

For LBTQ filmmakers, there is a 90 minute face to face online networking event hosted by a number of organisations who will be imparting their knowledge and listening to the experiences of filmmakers to date. The hope is to generate ideas and solutions to improve the creation and distribution of lesbian and bisexual films. The festival is in partnership with IRIS PRIZE, Brand Advance, Festival Formula, director/producer Lindy Boustedt and Cinema Systers.

Naomi Bennett, Founder said: “I am so proud to be continuing to grow the Lesflicks platform at this time, and COVID has given us an amazing opportunity to take our small film festival online and make it global. We have seen our community isolated, and the need for content to watch to both escape into, but also in which to see representation and feel connected to a community is greater than ever.”
