Hundreds of people will descend on a London pub tonight for a mass kiss-in, in protest at two gay men being ejected from its premises.
Jonathan Williams and, 26, and James Bull, 23, were thrown out of the John Snow pub in London’s Soho on Wednesday after the landlord objected to them kissing.
A Facebook page set up for the kiss-in has 600 confirmed attendees.
Kissers are advised to order only tap water when they arrive, to avoid the pub making a profit. Couples both gay and straight are encouraged to come along. Singles are also welcome; the organisers are at pains to reassure them that they’ll find someone to kiss!
The protest starts at 5 and finishes at 8.
