Hulk Hogan is suing his ex-wife for defamation over claims that he had a gay affair.
Hogan has filed a lawsuit against Linda Bollea, claiming that she lied in her new book.
In the book, Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes, Ms Bollea alleges that she suffered physical, mental and emotional abuse whilst married to the star.
In radio interviews she also claimed that Hogan was involved in a long-term gay relationship with wrestler Brutus Beefcake.
The lawsuit claims that his ex-wife’s book is an attempt to revive her “sagging career”.
Ms Bollea won 70 percent of the couple’s assets when they divorced in 2009 after a 24 year marriage.
