“Colours associated with nature are known for their soothing properties, and this includes the earth tones,” Rebecca explains.  Build a palette of warm, earthy hues like rust, tan, oatmeal and mink in the bedroom.

“Begin with a light neutral base like mink walls or an oatmeal bed, then layer on warm browns and off-whites through bedding and accessories.”

Add interior accessories that mirror nature to encourage a calming ambience such as golden wood colours or amber.

Dare to be bold is Rebecca’s ethos in a dining room by using rich, autumnal tones such as burgundy. “It has a seasonal vibrance which is great for perking up a space that sees more energy and activity,” although she advises to pair it with more neutral colours such as mink and ivory when accessorising.

A metallic light above the dining table creates a striking luxe centre-piece whilst establishing enough light to eat and entertain by. A dark wood and glass table will finish the look off.

Living Room

A cord sofa is perfect for Autumn with its heavy texture and unfussy style but can be easily accessorised with more glamorous cushions and blankets. Rebecca advises to keep other furniture delicate to balance out the substantial sofa such as a thin-legged brass coffee table “Brass is a great choice with its rust undertones and rosy finish.”

A comforting shade of grey such as Eiderdown by Earthborn is suggested as the perfect backdrop to autumnal accessories. It is a cool grey with a tinge of lilac and is softened with candles or warm lighting to create a cosy glow.
