Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish have been jointly nominated for the Premier Inn Celebrity Dad of the Year award.
The couple had their first child, Zachary, at Christmas, using a surrogate mother.
Other fathers in the running for the award include footballers Wayne Rooney and David Beckham, singer Peter Andre, singer Gary Barlow and presenter Jonathan Ross.
The winner of the award will be announced on Father’s Day.
