The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals yesterday ordered the US government to repeal the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell act, which prevents gay soldiers serving in the military.
A three-court panel ruled: “The circumstances and balance of hardships have changed, and [the government] can no longer satisfy the demanding standard for issuance of a stay.”
