Gay couples on the Isle of Man will be allowed to become civil partners by this time next week.
The Civil Partnership Bill 2011 will be implemented this coming Wednesday. Couples are allowed to begin the process of registering for a ceremony starting from today.
Homosexuality was only legalised on the Isle of Man in 1992.
