brightonOne of the UK’s most popular Pride festivals has been saved from closure amid mounting debts.

Brighton Pride, which is in it’s 20th year, delivered news of losses of around £200,000 to Brighton and Hove Council on 26th January this year. Despite the collapse of the Pride in Brighton & Hove organisation, the message regarding the festival, which takes place in Preston Park every year, has been ‘Hold This Date’, as new organisers take over.

This year Brighton Pride will take place on the slightly later date of Saturday 1 September due to the Olympics.
