If you’re one of our long term readers you’ll know that we’re unashamedly body positive. Not only that, we’re frequently frustrated at the fact that it’s really difficult to get hold of beautiful plus size lingerie for the curvier woman.

We really don’t think that women of above average size should be body-shamed to the extent that they are literally off the chart. The fashion industry must do better.

In fact, when we went online to find the US equivalent of UK bra and clothing sizes so we could better inform our north American readers, we were hard pushed to find a conversion chart which went above a UK size 20. Given that more than half of the UK’s adult, female population is a size 16 or above, we were not impressed. Anyway, our crack team of underwear researchers managed to work it out in the end, but we really don’t think that women of above average size should be body-shamed to the extent that they are literally off the chart. The fashion industry must do better.

Luckily, our friends at Oola Lingerie offer luxurious lingerie available in bra sizes 38-46, bra cups D-G (U.S. D-I) and dress sizes 14-32 (U.S. 10-28). Take a look.
