Riveting documentaries, steamy erotica and the world premiere of lesbian web series Different For Girls.

If you love going to the cinema, but prefer your popcorn served with a side of queer, then we have some awesome news for you. The ultimate UK LGBT film festival, BFI Flare, has just announced its 2017 programme and, quite frankly, it looks amazing.

We’re particularly excited about the world premiere of hot new lesbian web series, Different For Girls, featuring star of The L Word and DIVA 250 Awards Party host Rachel Shelley.

Tricia Tuttle, BFI Deputy Head of Festivals told us:

“Many world events in the last 12 months have reminded us just how vital this event still is.”

To say she’s enthusiastic about his year’s programme would be an understatement:

“It’s vibrant, politically engaged, playful, stirring – and with a number of World, International and European Premieres on offer, BFI Flare is absolutely the place to see the best new LGBT cinema first.”
