To celebrate Pride Month across the UK, Prime Video UK will today be launching #UnifiedinPride, a series of virtual events bringing people together from all backgrounds, communities, and celebrating diversity within diversities.

Virtual events taking place from today and throughout July include:

  • #SeenOnStreams Festival, which will bring visibility to diversity within the entertainment industry. The festival programme includes:

Cheers for Queers – Layton Williams, Russel Tovey and Beth Ditto pay tribute to the seminal LGBTQIA+ titles that have had the biggest impact on them. Cheers for Queers will kick off today, with episodes 2 and 3 launching each week following.

Pride Video Club – A four part YouTube series hosted by Raven Smith, where he’ll be joined by members of the community to discuss controversial, and sometimes difficult topics. Episodes will launch every Wednesday starting from 8th July covering Trans Representation with guests Munroe Bergdorf and Honey Dijon. Check Prime Video UK’s social for announcements about future guests and topics.

  • #DragStreams, which is a live streamed virtual parade celebrating self-expression and diversity, hosted by Courtney Act. The virtual parade will stream across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter on Saturday 11th July at 8pm BST. All proceeds from the virtual parade will be donated to two of Prime Video UK’s Pride partner charities, Mermaids and Minds Out.

In addition, Prime Video will also be hosting a new global, virtual Pride Festival, Pride Insidecelebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies, on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28thJune. More information, including RSVP details, can be found at PrimeVideoPrideInside.com.
