Two weeks ago Alina Tykhonova was an ordinary Ukrainian twenty-something who was looking forward to moving into her new apartment in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city. Two days ago she became a refugee, making a five-day, 500-mile journey to relative safety away from the constant bombardment of her home city.
We are humbled and grateful that Alina found the time to talk record this interview earlier today.
