The John Snow pub in London’s Soho closed its doors at 3pm today to stop a gay ‘kiss-in’ protest from going ahead.

LGB rights charity Stonewall has now opened applications for its Healthy Lives programme, which offers free advice for health professionals on how to properly address the needs of gay and bisexual patients and staff.

Hundreds of people will descend on a London pub tonight for a mass kiss-in, in protest at two gay men being ejected from its premises.
