Anna Wintour is to receive an award for her support of gay rights.
The US Vogue editor will receive the honour from the Human Rights Campaign on the 4th February.
Wintour, who has long used her fame to support gay marriage and is an outspoken campaigner, said in a Human Rights Campaign video “As far as I’m concerned, having the right to say ‘I do’ is as fundamental as the right to vote.”
She will receive the Ally award, an award given to a non-LGBT figure who has demonstrated outstanding support or contribution for the LGBT community in the US.
