LGBT equality charity Stonewall has launched inclusive jobs hub Proud Employers.

The site has been created to enable LGBT jobseekers to find employment with organisations they know respect and embrace their identity.

Applicants can sign up for updates on jobs at any level across all sectors, ensuring vacancies are being seen by as many candidates as possible.

Richard Mullen, Corporate Fundraising Officer at Stonewall said: “All of the leading employers understand the business benefits that come with a diverse workforce. Firms who improve the diversity within teams don’t just see a boost in productivity and breadth of ideas, but are also able to better represent all of the communities and customers that they serve.

“LGBT staff are a huge part of this, however potential applicants are often anxious about approaching employers in case there is an issue with anti-LGBT ‘banter’ or discrimination in the office. Proud Employers enables inclusive employers who want the best, diverse talent to reach jobseekers who see equality and inclusion as paramount.”

Proud Employers also acts as a fundraising tool for Stonewall. All profits made through the service will be fed back into the organisation to support its charitable objectives.
