Our friends at forum+ have announced what promises to be a wonderful evening of music and entertainment to launch Camden & Islington LGBT History Month and Loudest Whispers 2021. Award winning hosts Christopher Hamilton and Shimi Goodman will be joined by very special guests the baddest of all bad girls Nicole Faraday, the delectable  Mzz Kimberley and Professor of Whimsy Robert Garnham.

Hosts Christopher Hamilton and Shimi Goodman met at Guildford School of Acting and have performed at a gala tribute for former Israeli president Shimon Peres at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane in London, headlined a cabaret burlesque night at the Savoy Hotel and topped the bill at London’s Hippodrome. Shimi has sung in front of royalty including the Spanish King Felipe VI at the Teatro Real Opera House in Madrid. 

Nicole Faraday.

As if you didn’t know, Nicole Faraday  – an occasional guest columnist for OutNewsGlobal – is best known for her TV role as Snowball Merriman in two series of ITV’s Bad Girls, series regular roles as Veronica on Emmerdale and Dr Heather Lincoln on Casualty amongst other roles. As a singer Nicole has toured the UK and Ireland three times as Eva Cassidy in the number one tour of “Over the Rainbow” biopic theatre. She sang the songs of Maggie Reilly at two internationally acclaimed Tubular Bells Live! Mike Oldfield concerts alongside original Oldfield musicians and has toured nationally and internationally as Agnetha with ABBA GOLD. She also performs every year as a headlining act at Ella International Lesbian Festival in both Majorca and Davos.

Mzz Kimberley

Mzz Kimberley is a cabaret artist with a powerful voice and broad vocal range, she entertains her audiences with jazz, soul, musical theatre, and gospel.  Kim has performed in London’s Supperclub, The Glory, The Ivy club, Shadow Lounge, The RVT, Club Wotever, L’Escargot restaurant, Home House, The Brompton Club, Shoreditch House, The Cellar Door, Arcola Theatre, Café De Paris, National Theatre, Royal Festival Hall, and the Edinburgh festival. Kim toured with Cyndi Lauper on the European ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ tour as a dancer.

Robert Garnham.

Robert Garnham has been performing comedy poetry for ten years, and has headlined at nights from Exeter to Lancaster, and Newcastle to Milton Keynes. He has worked with BBC Radio Five Live, BBC Radio Two, The Guardian, The Times, Esquire Magazine and Comedy Central. The Professor of Whimsy, has been a featured poet in TV adverts for the Nationwide Building Society, and a joke from his show Juicy was named as one of the funniest of the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe. His live CD ‘Juicy’ came out in December 2020.
