The documentary has been scheduled for special event screenings across Australia.

A series of exclusive special event screenings of the heart-warming documentary Winter at Westbeth have been scheduled around the nation.

From celebrated Australian director Rohan Spong and producers Lizzette Atkins and Adam Farrington Williams, this uplifting and life-affirming documentary has been filmed over one year in an extraordinary New York artist housing project, Westbeth.

The documentary spans over a year and follows 95 year old video artist Edith Stephen who hopes to complete an experimental film for her birthday; dancer Dudley Williams, 75, who rehearses for an electrifying return to the stage; and 82 year old published poet Ilsa Gilbert as she faces her impending mortality with revealingly candid poetry.

The long term residents of this unique community continue to draw meaning and vitality from many artistic outlets, inspiring both themselves and others in the process.

Documenting powerful statements shouted from rooftops, moving dance performances and the reasons for wearing green eyeshadow, Winter at Westbeth is an inspirational story about community, ageing and the power of creativity.

  1. Just what a piece now that is timely! Thank you a
lot for such a post that is fantastic. I watched your books earlier
in the day, but that one I believe the very best, same as https://www.bizcommunity.ug/Profile/MargaretDietrick/c-499. How
did you discover facts? Since it’s truly easy to see, I just like the way you organize everything.

I could recommend this article to everyone else who is
    thinking about that topic.
