cavemanArchaeologists in Prague have discovered 5,000-year-old remains which they believe belong to either a gay or transsexual caveman.

In the first discovery of its kind, the male skeleton was found with its head pointing towards the east, surrounded by pottery – a method of burial traditionally assigned to female bodies.

Speaking to the Telegraph, lead archaeologist Kamila Remisova Vesinova said: “From history and ethnology, we know that people from this period took funeral rites very seriously so it is highly unlikely that this positioning was a mistake… Far more likely is that he was a man with a different sexual orientation, homosexual or transsexual.”
