Introducing our celebration of the lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgender people who make a real difference.
At the end of an uncertain week a ray of light. It’s our inaugural celebration of the achievements of 100 most influential lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex people in Britain voted for by you.
Thousands of public nominations came in via our online voting form. It’s fair to say, the competition has never been stronger or closer.
The list recognises the people who have paved the way for LGBTI equality and celebrates those actively working to raise visibility and change lives.
Congratulations to all who made the list and all the nominees who did not. You all make Great Britain a better place.
And why do we compile the list? Because, while OutNews Global readers may be great supporters who campaign for equality for all, unfortunately, some people still need reminding.
