The model, DJ and activist is excited about her new campaign.

Last week transgender model, DJ and activist Munroe Bergdorf was dropped from L’Oreal’s #YoursTruly diversity campaign after she posted a Facebook status about racism and white privilege.

The announcement, which followed an inflammatory article by the Daily Mail, sent shockwaves around the country as Munroe appeared on programmes including BBC News, Channel 4 News and Good Morning Britain.

In an interview with The Guardian, she said:

“I don’t regret what I said. I’m an activist. Being an activist means calling people out, not just saying what everyone else is saying and what everyone else wants to think and upholding the common consensus. L’Oréal knew that when they hired me.”

It has now been revealed that Munroe will be the face of make-up brand Illamasqua.

The beauty company have long been supporters of Munroe and have featured her in their campaigns before.

Excited to announce that I’m one of the faces of the next @illamasqua campaign. #illamafia
