After 
tweeting on Friday calling Chick-fil-A’s product “Hate Chicken”, the mayor of Washington DC has announced that he will not support any expansion of the chicken chain into the capital of the United States.
The announcement by Vincent Gray, Mayor of Washington DC, follows similar announcements by the mayors of Boston, Chicago and San Francisco that the company was no longer welcome in light of their anti equal-marriage stance.
Vincent Gray also referenced in his statement his long-standing support for LGBT rights and equal marriage.
