The “Same Love” singer celebrates Stonewall as a National Park.

Out and proud singer and poet Mary Lambert put her heart on her sleeve recently when she performed a pop-up concert in front of historic LGBT landmark, the Stonewall Inn.

Her live performance was immediately followed by a tour of the first ever LGBTQ national park, Stonewall National Monument, with National Park Service Rangers speaking to the importance of the recent “LGBTQ America: A Theme Study of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer History” released by the National Park Service and the Obama Administration earlier this month.

Lambert’s performance included songs about mental health, love and the LGBTQ community to raise awareness about the National Park Service’s first LGBTQ national park site – Stonewall National Monument as part of the #FindYourPark campaign for which Lambert is an Ambassador.
