Help this year’s event raise more money for AIDS charities than ever before.

Registration for the World Aids Day Red Run is now open!

This brilliant event is now in its eighth year. Last November it set new records, becoming the largest HIV community event in London. More than 600 people attended and almost £60,000 was raised for local HIV services.

This year, it’s going to be even bigger.

Positive East hosts The Red Run to raise money for HIV charities and groups across the UK. 25 HIV charities are already taking part and the list keeps growing.

There are still so many issues faced by people living with HIV. 103,000 people are currently living with HIV in the UK and this figure increases by 6000 every year. An HIV diagnosis still carries stigma and fear. HIV services and activism are vital. All funds raised by the Red Run will go directly to essential programmes, improving the lives of those living with, and affected by, HIV.

So get on your marks and get signing up for this awesome charity fun run.

The first 50 people to register to run for Positive East in the World AIDS Day Red Run 2017 will automatically be entered into a prize draw and will be in the running to win a dinner for two!

Taking place on 26 November 2017, the World AIDS Day Red Run is a 10K or 5K charity run through leafy Victoria Park, east London.
