dreamstime_xs_11121509A man from West Yorkshire has been jailed following a homophobic attack on a lesbian couple.

According to the Bradford Telegraph, 22-year-old Adrian Feather attacked Tracey Williams and Verona Benson after a previous altercation in a pub. The court heard that he saw the couple in Bradford town centre on July 9th, after they had attended a wedding reception.

He then proceeded to attack the pair, breaking Benson’s ankle and wounding Tracey Williams. Benson told the court how the attack had left her on edge and how it had affected her career as a bus driver.

Adrian Feather was described as an “animal” by the judge and sentenced to six and a half years.
