Miriam Margolyes, who plays the part of Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter films, has spoken out about her fear of kissing other women on-screen.
Margolyes says she worries that female co-stars will believe she is attracted to them because she’s a lesbian in real life.
The actress told contactmusic.com: “I don’t like playing lesbians. I am a lesbian, but I don’t like playing them. I loath kissing women on stage or on screen. Absolutely loathe it. And I’ll tell you why, it’s because I don’t want them to think that I fancy them.”
