The Le Monde Hotel in Edinburgh is the epitome of style and luxury.

Its 18 rooms offer guests the true boutique experience; each room is designed to reflect the style of different major cities, such as Cairo,  Los Angeles, New York and Tokyo. The rooms are tastefully decorated and filled with furniture, books, music, movies, artwork and other cultural details that complement the city.

Edinburgh  is at the heart of world culture and the Le Monde is the ideal location for exploring the city’s attractions including Princes Street Gardens, Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle. It is just a short walk to Waverly station and the airport express bus.

The restaurant offers a great selection of dishes all freshly made from local produce.

As it was a Sunday we opted for the roast beef. There were generous portions of meat, potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and a separate heated bowl of tenderly cooked vegetables.

Guests can also spend an evening at the famous Shanghai nightclub or in one of the three themed bars. Whether you’re looking for somewhere to kick back, late night lounge or experience live music, Le Monde has bespoke designed areas to cater to whatever you feel like.

The Library Bar oozes the charm of a gentleman’s club adorned with rich brown leather arm chairs for you to sink into. Or maybe the Sky Bar will tempt you where Afternoon Tea, great views and classic cocktails come as standard.
