kenistheleaderoftheglcKen Livingstone, former London mayor and Labour candidate for the 2012 London mayoral elections, has criticised current Conservative mayor Boris Johnson’s record on gay rights.

 

Livingstone says Johnson has brushed gay rights under the carpet in the capital, cutting funds for the Pride London festival and withdrawing from Stonewall’s Equality Index for gay-friendly employers.

He says the current mayor has also failed to try and prevent cuts to vital LGBT services.
