Mark_Palmer-EdgecumbeMark Palmer-Edgecumbe, Head of Diversity & Inclusion for Google in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has accepted a position on the Board of Directors of the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) Foundation.

The former Head of Judges of the European Diversity Awards will join Dr Elizabeth Kelan and four others as new members of the board.

The foundation’s aim is to support education in the form of scholarships targeted to students among those groups under-represented in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Todd Corley, Senior Vice-President and Global Chief Diversity Officer of Abercrombie & Fitch and Chair of the NSHSS Board of Directors said: “The energy, commitment and passion that these leaders bring to supporting young people and education will greatly benefit the mission of the NHSS Foundation.

“We know that more graduates in STEM, business, economic and public policy fields are needed in order to meet the demands of an ever changing global economy to create a better future for all.”
