TV host Rylan Clark and his Big Brother star husband, Dan Neal, will co-host This Morning.

They will front the live two-hour flagship daytime show for the first time on Friday, July 8, while regular anchors Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford are on holiday.

The pair first worked together on the show late in 2015 when they interviewed Christopher Cramp, the first person to have a Civil Partnership when it became law in the UK in December 2005.

A source close to the show told the Mirror: “Rylan is hugely popular with the This Morning audience and working with Dan again will provide key chemistry a show like this requires with its hosts.”

Speaking about working with Dan previously, Rylan said: “Obviously, me and Dan do a lot of work together away from TV on the development side, so we are used to doing stuff like that.

“But to do stuff on camera together was a little bit strange.

“But I really enjoyed doing it. It was really nice and it felt easy.”

He and Dan married on November 7 in Essex, surrounded by friends and family and a host of famous faces including Gok Wan.

The couple have been dating since 2013, after Rylan interviewed the father-of-one on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side.
