Liverpoolstreetsign2Liverpool City Council and regeneration agency Liverpool Vision are holding a facebook poll to decide on a brand that businesses can use in the gay village.

The final logo will be used on promotional material for the Stanley Street area and by local businesses, three different concepts have been designed and have now been put to vote on facebook.

John Lowe, Managing director of Bolland & Lowe, brand communication agency said: “The Stanley Quarter brand must have a strong visual identity, helping to drive the area’s community and create ownership of the brand.

“This is an ideal opportunity for all people, gay or straight, to get involved and give us their views about each of our designs.”

Jenny Douglas, head of area investment for Liverpool Vision said: “This is just the start of the exciting changes which will be happening in the Stanley Street Quarter.”

Last week, Liverpool City Council unveiled the new street signs which feature a rainbow logo, in the Stanley Street Quarter.

Paul Amann, project manager for the Quarter said: “The Stanley Street Quarter has enormous potential and is the place where we can do something different, let’s choose a design that reflects that goal.”
