Hosted by DIVA Magazine, the DIVA Awards are the biggest for LBT+ women in the country
So many companies talk a good game when it comes to LGBTQ diversity, but far fewer actually step up to the plate with anything other than fine words and achingly inclusive stock images on their websites.
That’s why we’re delighted to announce Barclays as the new headline sponsor of the 2018 DIVA Awards.
🌈 We're super, super pleased to announce @BarclaysUK as Headline Sponsors of the 2018 #DIVAawards! The hottest #LGBT+ awards ceremony of the year will take place on Friday 8 June at London’s #Waldorf Hotel 🏆🏆🏆 #divaawards18 #barclays pic.twitter.com/kuk2VcHBEL

Taking place at London’s Waldorf Hilton Hotel on 8 June, the DIVA Awards showcase the very best of the LBT+ universe. Writers, politicians, celebrities, business leaders and sportspeople all come together to celebrate some of the outstanding achievements of lesbians and bisexual women over the past twelve months.
DIVA editor Carrie Lyell said, “It’s wonderful that a globally-renowned, household-name organisation like Barclays has lent their name to the DIVA Awards.
“Even within the LGBT+ community, the voices of gay, bisexual and trans women have frequently been marginalised, and with Barclays on board as our headline sponsor it’s evident that we’re making incredible strides to redress the balance.”
The Awards are set to welcome the cream of the LBT+ crop, including singing star Lucy Spraggan, actress Sophie Ward and YouTube legends Rose and Rosie among a plethora of A-list guests.
You can follow the DIVA Awards live on Facebook on 8 June.
